I've used them a few times now, although in my case to Australia. It was also around the 2 month wait. The packages came in pretty good condition, one lot was a little squashed. But nothing that caused any major damage and everything inside the shipping boxes were fine. I even had one package from Nippon Yasan where they packed the figure box in so tightly, there was no room for a gap between the two boxes and even that came fine. So I think the process itself is pretty safe, there is always a risk, but I don't think it's much more than the other services. At least not in my experience so far.
