Gladys V. Torricer, 45, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2015, at Kaiser Moanalua with her loving family by her side.

Visitation is scheduled to take place on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Nakamura Mortuary, public at 6:00pm, and service at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Christ the King Church, viewing at 9:30am, mass at 11:00am, and reception to follow. Burial to take place at Maui Memorial Park (Garden of Meditation) at 2:00pm.

Gladys was born on November 23, 1970, to Alfredo and Nena Valdez in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

She was a manager at the Wakea Minit Stop.

She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Torricer, whom she was married to for 14 years prior to her passing; two sons, Brandon, and Andrew Torricer; her Father Alfredo Valdez; brother, Romel (Melanie) Valdez; sister, Shirlyn (Steven) Gunderson; and two nephews, Connor, and Dillon Gunderson.

Gladys was described by family as hard working, caring, loving, simple, and being a nurturer to all.
