BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — If you waited until the last minute to get glasses for the solar eclipse, you will find that many stores don't have them anymore.
KBOI reached out to several stores including Fred Meyer, Albertsons and Walgreens. Most stores are completely sold out.
A few locations ordered more glasses but said the supply was limited and they were running out fast. Shoppers should call ahead to make sure that these stores still have glasses in stock.
You may be able to find eclipse glasses on Craigslist but many sellers are hiking up the prices.
Eclipse glasses are still being sold and given away at eclipse related events.
Starting at 10 a.m. on eclipse day, Boise State University faculty, students and parents are invited to the BSU Quad for a watch party.
At the same time, the Nampa Public Library is having a watch party and giving glasses to the first 1,000 people to show up.
Those who wish to see the solar eclipse from the 99.6 Percent Eclipsed watch party can show up to Bogus Basin when it open at 8 a.m. Glasses are being sold for $3 while supplies last.
